YIR: 2010

I was just noticing that I didn't end up doing the Year-In-Review meme (first sentence of first post for each month) for 2009, which is just as well, because I didn't actually post anything in September 2009. Still, that was the first year I hadn't done it since 2004 (as I noted in 2008).

This year, I did post something each month, but I still only made 55 posts over the entire year. At least there was something besides the monthly "diary" posts, but that's significantly different than my old average of over 3 posts per day when I was using LiveJournal regularly. Anyway, I decided to do it again this year. I've excluded the "diary" posts and the Further Adventures of Dan, because making a review out of reviews seems weirdly recursive.
I've gotten fairly sick of all of the spam traffic that T*uchyTr*nny.com gets, so I decided to change. So, I had a follow up appointment with my primary care physician this morning about the headaches. Look-it the pretty colors. So, as I've mentioned several times before, I've been keeping a log of my eating and alcohol consumption habits since the end of last July. I've startled Grayskale a couple of times during the last couple of months by using food politics as my conversational opener. My birthday is probably the only day I really like having a FaceBook account. Yesterday evening, I tried the "all you can eat" sushi special at Manna Sushi in Arlington. It's unusual for me, but there are actually a couple of movies I "wouldn't mind seeing" in the theatres. I have mixed feelings about this. I haven't talked much about my father's death in the intervening years since 2002. I've been indulging in a thought experiment this morning regarding the viability, or at least the logistics, of a brick-and-mortar e-book store. A thread today on the @UniversalHub twitter account started as follows: Random bag searches at park st station FYI.
